Primex provides high quality training to the members of the Armed Forces. This training includes the provision of the following courses:
Life Cycle Materiel Managers course: This course is designed to instruct senior DND military and civilian personnel how to manage the military equipment for which they are responsible. The course includes instruction on the Defence Management System, Repair and Overhaul, Procurement, Project Management, Quality Management, Risk Management, Sparing, Supply, and Technical Data Management. The instructors involved in teaching this course have more than 75 years of combined experience in this field.
Procurement Support for Technical Authorities: This course provides instruction in the development of a Procurement Instrument for a competitive tendering process. The students are also introduced to the latest changes in the acquisition reform process. Finally, a senior PWGSC representative provides a briefing regarding the relationship between PWGSC and the Technical Authority.
Security: This course is provided to the RCMP and Transport Canada personnel and provides comprehensive training on the use of security equipment for buildings, airports etc.
NBCD: These courses were developed to brief and train DND personnel in the hazards of Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Agents. It covers how to use the equipment designed to detect and decontaminate equipment and personnel exposed to these agents and how the equipment is to be stored and maintained.
