We carefully select the clients that we work with as they must have a similar commitment to service as we do. We know that our reputation and that of our clients are linked to both the quality of the product and the after sales service provided. Many manufacturers have difficulty providing the after sales support that DND both requires and should expect. Items such as customs clearance, brokerage, and warranty work are difficult for DND personnel to arrange. Finding spare parts, expediting repair work, initiating modifications, all of this work is difficult for the users to accomplish. We provide this service. Customers know that if there is a problem they can contact us and the issue will be resolved quickly and to their satisfaction. Finally, we try to insist that repair work for the Canadian Military be performed in Canada to cut down on the logistics necessary to effect the repair. This reduces the turn around time and the number of spares that the military system must maintain in order to meet the operational commitments. |
